Die AICO, die vom IOC anerkannte Dachorganisation der Olympiasammler – nicht nur auf dem Gebiet der Philatelie -, rief in der problematischen Pandemiezeit ihre Mitglieder in aller Welt zur ersten virtuellen Ausstellung auf.
Am 5. September ist es nun soweit und die Seite wird freigeschaltet. 97 Objekte wurden gescannt und eingereicht – dazu 5 Exponate in der Ehrenklasse. Dabei sind auch Jugendsammlungen, um die die IMOS bei der DPhJ warb.
Es wird spannend, wie die Memorabilasammler ihre Schätze präsentieren werden.
Und, nicht weniger interessant – neben Ausstellern der europäischen Schwesterorganisationen der IMOS „starten“ u.a. auch Olympiasammler aus Hongkong, Indien, den USA und Mexico.
Es gibt auch eine Publikumswertung: also heißt es ab 5. September (bis 2. Oktober) die Exponate anschauen und Punkte vergeben.

The AICO, the umbrella organization of Olympic collectors recognized by the IOC – not only in the field of philately – called on its members all over the world to attend the first virtual exhibition during the problematic pandemic period.
On September 5th the time has come and the site will be activated. 97 objects were scanned and submitted – plus 5 exhibits in the honor class. There are also youth collections that the IMOS advertised at the DPhJ.
It will be exciting to see how the memorabilia collectors will present their treasures. And, no less interesting – in addition to exhibitors from the European sister organizations of IMOS, there are also Olympic collectors from Hong Kong, India, the USA and Mexico.
There is also an audience rating: So from September 5th (until October 2nd) it is time to look at the exhibits and award points.
